The competition, dedicated to the warriors of the Special Operations Center “Alpha” of the Security Service of Ukraine, brought together the strongest fighters from all regions of Ukraine.
The team of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was trained by Senior Instructor of the Department of Special Physical Training, Oleksandr Zhuravel.
The bouts were intense, dynamic, and spectacular, requiring maximum concentration, endurance, and skill from the athletes.
Based on the competition results, DSUIA cadets earned prize-winning places:
• Daria Yeremenko (study group SR-332) took second place in the weight category up to 65.8 kg.
• Vitalii Naumenko (study group PD-332) took third place in the weight category up to 79.4 kg.
• Andrii Nechytailo (study group SR-331) took third place in the weight category up to 56.7 kg.
The athletes’ achievements demonstrated the high level of sports training at DSUIA and the university’s worthy representation on the national stage.
