During the lecture, students learned about the main risks associated with sharing personal data online, the rules for configuring privacy settings on social media, responsible and safe online communication.

Another cybersecurity class for students was held at the O. Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum with a security focus and national-patriotic education. The concept of privacy on social media and its importance for future employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system was presented to the lyceum students by computer science teacher Mykola Shevchenko.
The session outlined the key threats that active social media users may face. In particular, it addressed cyberbullying, stalking, phishing attacks and identity theft, which criminals use for fraudulent activities. Students were informed how careless handling of personal information can lead to financial losses, psychological pressure or personal compromise.

The speaker emphasized the importance of avoiding the publication of personal data online, including phone numbers, home addresses, information about daily whereabouts, private photos or copies of documents. Mykola Shevchenko advised students to enable advanced privacy settings: limit the audience for posts and stories, restrict access to friends lists, disable geolocation and use two-factor authentication to protect accounts.
According to the organizers, adherence to digital security rules is especially important for future system employees, as online reputation directly affects professional trust, career prospects and the image of a law enforcement officer. The lecture became another step toward fostering a responsible and conscious attitude among lyceum students toward their behavior in the digital space.
