At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs honoured the best athletes according to the results of 2025 year. The event was opened by Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalina.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, after which all present honoured the memory of fallen defenders with a minute of silence.
Ihor Mahdalina thanked the athletes for worthily representing the university on arenas of different levels, in particular international, emphasized the work of coaches who prepare champions, and wished sports inspiration and new achievements.
With words of greeting to those present also addressed prorector, police colonel Ihor Kovalov and head of the public association “Physical Culture and Sports Club «TITAN»” Mykola Pozhodaiev.
With honorary distinctions and memorable gifts were awarded prize-winners of the DSUIA 2025 spartakiad.
– 5th place was taken by the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education;
– 4th place was won by Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
– 3rd place was taken by the Educational-Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units of the National Police of Ukraine;
– 2nd place was won by the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine;
– 1st place was taken by the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine. To the deputy dean of the faculty, police lieutenant colonel Ihor Shevchenko was handed the transitional cup.
Also were awarded teams in polyathlon and sambo that represented DSUIA in competitions of the physical culture and sports society “Dynamo” of Ukraine.
Certificates for receiving sports nutrition were handed to the best athletes who won prize places and champion titles both at the state and European and world levels.
Separately were awarded representatives of the team of military veterans of DSUIA who worthily represent the higher education institution in competitions of different levels.
The event became an important summary of sports achievements of the year and motivated all present to new accomplishments in the further development of sports life of the university.
