Juvenile Prevention: a Binary Class for DDUVS Cadets

A binary class on the topic “Specifics of Juvenile Prevention Work in the System of the National Police of Ukraine” was held for third-year cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for the Training of Specialists for Preventive Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

The Head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the Preventive Activities Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Inna Dutka, was invited to conduct the class. The session was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of DDUVS, Police Senior Lieutenant Karina Pisotska.

During the class, Inna Dutka shared practical experience in identifying and preventing offenses committed by and against children, and explained the mechanisms of interaction with other services and the public.

The class also addressed issues of preventing suicidal behavior among children, response algorithms to cases of child recruitment by the aggressor state, and preventive measures aimed at preventing such crimes.

Such binary classes are an integral part of training future police officers, as they allow cadets to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specifics of service, develop the necessary practical skills, and prepare for effective activities to protect the rights and interests of children.
