Representatives of the veteran community of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the forum “Volunteer Front. Volunteering for Victory,” organized by the Department of Veteran Policy of the Dnipro City Council.

The event aimed to create a sustainable platform for the exchange of experience, coordination of efforts, and establishment of cooperation among all participants in the volunteer movement.
DDUVS was represented at the forum by Ivan Zmiievskyi, Deputy Head of a Course at the Educational and Scientific Institute for the Training of Specialists for Preventive Activity Units of the National Police of Ukraine, and Artem Formalov, Laboratory Assistant of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
The forum brought together representatives of the Dnipro City Council, the Security and Defense Sector Forces of Ukraine, volunteer and public organizations, as well as other civil society institutions.

Participants discussed current issues related to the development of the volunteer movement under martial law, in particular strategies for cooperation between volunteer organizations and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as practical approaches to increasing the effectiveness of humanitarian assistance.

The participation of DDUVS representatives in such events contributes to strengthening interaction between the veteran community, local self-government bodies, and the volunteer sector, as well as to the formation of a comprehensive approach to supporting veterans and active service members and to the development of civil society.
