The event was held jointly with representatives of the Regional Service Centre of the Main Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

Head of the Department of Automotive Training of DSUIA, military veteran Yevhenii Khokhlov, acquainted patients of the centre with the activity of the university, conditions of obtaining higher education and possibilities of further employment in the educational institution.

Special attention was paid to the work of the Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA. Those present were explained categories of driver training for persons with disabilities, peculiarities of equipment of training cars and procedure of passing training. In addition, participants received information about the procedure of obtaining services in service centres of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and possibility of re-equipment of vehicles.

Patients of Superhumans centre had the opportunity to communicate with a driver-instructor and inspect a specially adapted car that is used for practical lessons, as well as tried their forces in driving a car.



Conducting such events contributes to social reintegration of war veterans and persons with disabilities, expands their possibilities of professional development and independent movement, as well as demonstrates practical realization of barrier-free principles in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
