Esports Training Continues at the O. Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

MIA Lyceum

Systematic and consistent training of students combines the development of intellectual abilities with teamwork skills.

Training matches for the students were held in a matchmaking format on specialized esports platforms Cybershoke and Faceit, which are widely used in professional and semi-professional esports. Matchmaking involves the automatic selection of opponents with a similar level of skill, ensuring fair competition and conditions that closely resemble real tournament play.

The main goal of the sessions is to practice communication and team play in real-match conditions against opposing teams. This format allows lyceum students to develop strategic thinking, rapid analysis of in-game situations and decision-making skills, as well as constructive interaction with teammates. These skills are important not only for esports training but also for overall personal development.

Special attention is also paid to physical fitness. During breaks between gaming sessions, students perform physical exercises, including squats for the maximum number of repetitions within two minutes. This helps relieve tension, maintain physical fitness, develop endurance and discipline.
