Cadet of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs Yaroslav Melnyk became a medalist of the Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Cup, winning second place in the “special technique” division.
The competitions took place on December 19–21, 2025, in the city of Kyiv and brought together more than 400 athletes from various regions of Ukraine. In an intense contest for awards, Yaroslav Melnyk, a cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine (training group KP-262-24-1), worthily represented DSUIA, demonstrating a high level of technical skill and preparation.
According to the results of the performances, the athlete took second place, adding a silver medal at a nationwide-level competition to the university’s collection.
