“My Path This Year: Reflection and Growth” — Psychological Training at DDUVS

NEWS

The event, organized by the Psychological Support Unit of DDUVS, was held for second-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.

The event was aimed at helping cadets become aware of their achievements during the academic year, analyze internal changes, and reflect on their personal and professional growth. In a safe format, participants had the opportunity to analyze their own experience, identify achievements, and outline areas for further development.

As part of the training, psychologist Alina Horodnychenko conducted sessions using reflective exercises, group discussions, and individual tasks focused on developing emotional resilience, responsibility, and a mature attitude toward future service in the bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.

Summarizing the year in such a format is an important element of psychological training, as it helps cadets build inner resilience, recognize their own resources, and understand current professional challenges.

The university’s psychological service provides systematic support for the educational process, contributing to the development of personal maturity, stress resistance, and a responsible attitude of future police officers toward their chosen profession.
