Representatives of DSUIA took part in a series of training programs organized by the public organization JustGroup

The events were held within the framework of implementing the memorandum of cooperation signed between DSUIA and JustGroup.

The public organization JustGroup conducted a series of training programs titled “Procedural Interview. Vulnerability” and “Procedural Interview. Basic”.

One of the developers of the programs and organizers of the events, as well as a curator and trainer, was Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure of DDUVS, Police Major Viktoriia Rohalska.

The events were attended by investigators of the National Police of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, prosecutors, as well as faculty members of higher education institutions. DDUVS was represented by academic staff members Olena Soldatenko, Ihor Pyrih, and Police Major Alina Harkusha.

The trainers included investigators of the National Police of Ukraine, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General, as well as invited experts.

Participants gained new knowledge and skills in conducting interrogations using the procedural interview methodology and practiced them through relevant simulations involving professional actors.

Special attention was focused on establishing psychological contact with interviewees and obtaining information using various techniques while taking into account vulnerable conditions.
In the future, it is planned to implement the acquired knowledge into the educational process for the training of current and future investigators.
