Military veterans who train at the base of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, work in the higher education institution, as well as members of their families took part in the master-class on manufacturing of New Year ikebana and festive decorations.
The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training of DSUIA jointly with representatives of the public organization «Together, UA» of the city of Dnipro with assistance and support of the leadership of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
In a friendly and supportive atmosphere participants learned to create New Year compositions from coniferous branches, decorate them with decorative elements and garlands.
The master-class became not only a creative lesson but also a space for communication, exchange of experience and mutual support. Such events contribute to acquisition of new skills, emotional unloading, reduction of stress level and socialization of veterans.
Participants noted that conducting such a master-class gave opportunity to distract from everyday worries, feel festive mood and realize own creative potential.
Hand-made New Year ikebana veterans will be able to gift to their friends and families, filling holidays with warmth, attention and sincere emotions.
