The event was attended by students of professional pre-higher and higher education institutions of Dnipropetrovsk Region representing various non-humanitarian and humanitarian specialties.
On December 19, 2025, the regional stage of the 16th International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literature Competition took place. The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by Maksym Khadzhyiskyi, Artem Herashchenko, Kira Orynko, and Kateryna Myshko.
The participants were prepared for the competition by the Head of the Department of Language Training of DDUVS, Iryna Tsariova, and Associate Professor Liubov Tereshchenko.
First place was taken by Artem Herashchenko, second place by Maksym Khadzhyiskyi, while Kateryna Myshko and Kira Orynko won third places in different categories.
Victory in the competition is not only a significant personal achievement, but also an important contribution to the preservation and promotion of the Ukrainian language, literature, culture, and national values.
Such achievements testify to the strength of the Ukrainian word and its important role in shaping the national consciousness of young people.
