Cadet Vladyslav Konoshko and student Anastasiia Medvedieva won prize places at the open championship of Donetsk Oblast in kettlebell sport that took place in online format.
The event gathered participants who represented Volnovaska, Mariupolska and Pokrovska city territorial communities, Ocheretynska settlement territorial community, as well as Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Rivne oblasts, city of Kyiv and participants from the Republic of Lithuania.
Competitions took place according to the programme of kettlebell snatch with arbitrary change of hands (R-12). Men performed with kettlebells of weight 24 and 16 kg, women – 16 and 12 kg, veterans – with kettlebells of weight 24 and 16 kg respectively depending on age and weight category.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by cadet Vladyslav Konoshko and student Anastasiia Medvedieva.
According to the results of competitions Anastasiia Medvedieva took first place in the weight category up to 73 kg, Vladyslav Konoshko – third place (also in the category up to 73 kg).
