Systematic tennis and pétanque classes were organized by the Department of Special Physical Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs with the comprehensive support of the university administration.

The tennis training was conducted by Vasyl Koval – Champion of Ukraine, professional coach with many years of experience. During the sessions, participants worked on basic elements of the game: correct stance, racket grip, serve and ball reception. Special attention was paid to movement coordination, development of reaction speed and shot accuracy.
All exercises were performed taking into account the physical capabilities of each participant and aimed at gradual restoration of motor activity.
Pétanque training sessions are also beneficial for veterans, combining moderate physical load with psychological relief and live communication. This game does not require intense movements, instead developing fine motor skills, precision and tactical thinking. During the classes, veterans practice throwing technique and learn to build game strategy.

Adaptive training sessions are of great importance for military veterans, as they combine physical activity, social interaction and emotional support. Regular sports activities help restore physical condition, reduce stress levels, improve well-being and contribute to successful social adaptation.
