A meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council took place at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Council, Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Oleksandr Yunin.
During the work of the advisory body, a number of important issues related to the activities of the higher education institution were considered. Changes to the personal composition of the Scientific and Methodological Council were approved, a report on the fulfillment of the teaching load in the 1st semester of the 2025/2026 academic year was heard, and the involvement of experienced police officers, human rights bodies, courts, legal services of enterprises, institutions and organizations in the educational process was discussed.
The issue of organizing elective classes for higher education applicants in the 2nd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year was raised and the draft Regulation on the organization of distance learning at DSUIA was considered.
In addition, a number of Professional programs for advanced training and specialization of police officers were approved. The possibility of granting permission to conduct lecture classes to academic staff who do not have a scientific degree or academic title was also discussed.
