“Day of Unity of Ukraine: Historical Component” — Open Lecture at DSUIA

An open lecture dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine took place at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. Cadets of the first course of the higher education institution took part in the event.

The lecture was delivered by Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights, Police Lieutenant Colonel Yuliia Zavgorodnia.

At the beginning of the event, all those present honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.

Yuliia Zavgorodnia emphasized the significance of the Day of Unity, spoke about the historical preconditions that preceded the adoption of the Act of Unification, and stressed that, as more than a hundred years ago, Ukraine today continues the struggle for freedom and independence.

The cadets joined the discussion of the topic and expressed their attitude towards the significant historical events that united two Ukrainian republics into one state.

The lecture became an important reminder of the historical significance of the Unity of Ukraine and the necessity of preserving national unity.
