The event was organized by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of DSUIA Mykola Repan within the framework of teaching the discipline “Organization of Activities of District Police Officers”.

At the class with district police officers undergoing training under the specialization program at the Department of Organization of Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning, they met with the Head of the Community Interaction Sector of the Prevention Department of the Pavlohrad District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Police Captain Ivan Kostyshyn.

Attention was focused on providing high-quality police service, solving social and everyday problems of community residents, which overall contributes to increasing trust in the police.

Ivan Kostyshyn believes that such interaction between services is relevant, as it is aimed at coordinating efforts to ensure public safety, countering crime and providing assistance to citizens under martial law.

Separately, the issue of the work of community police officers under martial law and communication with military personnel and persons with combat experience at low, medium and high levels of threat was considered. Such persons are directly involved in the evacuation of the civilian population and distribution of humanitarian aid. Police officers ensure the functioning of checkpoints, respond to calls, check documents and vehicles, counter looting and other offenses.

The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue, where those present were able to receive answers to current questions, as well as exchange opinions on establishing cooperation between services and made their proposals.
