The event was organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration at the municipal educational institution ‘Synergy Lyceum’ of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by military veterans: inspector of the sports team of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department of DSUIA Viacheslav Panin, laboratory assistant of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education Artem Formalov, and Deputy Course Commander of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units of the NPU Ivan Zmiyevskyi.
Teams gathered to compete in a quiz and determine who knows Ukraine and its history best. Participants from teams of veterans of the National Guard of Ukraine, National Police of Ukraine, Armed Forces of Ukraine, and pupils of the lyceum answered questions, discussed, recalled little-known facts, and discovered new pages of Ukraine’s past and present.
The event was initiated by the Assistant to the Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on Veterans’ Policy Denys Skaleukh as another step toward popularizing Ukrainian culture and national consciousness. The Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration Iryna Hrytsai took part in the meeting.
Such events contribute to the formation of patriotic consciousness, respect for military personnel and law enforcement officers, as well as deeper study of Ukraine’s history.
