Instructions Before Internship: Briefing for DSUIA Cadets

The event was organized for cadets of the 4th year of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The higher education applicants were addressed by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, the Dean of the Faculty, Police Lieutenant Colonel Vladyslav Lazarev, and the Deputy Dean, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Shevchenko.

The university’s authorized person for anti-corruption activities Ruslan Lupyr, the Head of the Department of Psychological Support Serhii Vyshnevskyi, and the Head of the Monitoring Department of DSUIA, Police Major Ivan Pavlovtsev, also took part in conducting the event.

Ihor Kovalov drew attention to the need for conscientious attitude to duties, emphasized the specifics of undergoing the internship, stressed the importance of compliance with discipline, personal safety and fulfillment of the norms of anti-corruption legislation.

The cadets received information about their rights and obligations, the list of competencies and skills that need to be mastered, as well as methodological recommendations for performing tasks.

In addition, emphasis was placed on the need for strict compliance with the requirements of the internship program. It was pointed out the importance of timely fulfillment of planned activities, keeping an internship diary and high-quality preparation of documents provided by the program.
