The cycle of classes takes place with the participation of employees from the Criminal Analysis Departments of the Main Departments of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the NPU DSUIA.
The next practical session on the topic “Working with data from the National Police Information Portal and its visualization using online services” was conducted by the Deputy Head of the Department of the Criminal Analysis Division of the Main Department of the National Police in Luhansk Region, Police Major Dmytro Churbakov.
During the class, cadets became acquainted with the basic principles of the National Police Information Portal’s operation, its technical capabilities, and the practical tasks solved in the service activities of criminal analysis units. Cadets also worked on the procedure for searching and selecting information on specific types of crimes, its export, preparation for visualization, and the use of cartographic online services.
Holding classes in this format contributes to combining theoretical training with real service needs, helps cadets develop professional skills in working with analytical data, and increases their readiness to perform tasks in criminal police units.
