The event was conducted by the Head of the Department of Administrative and Legal Disciplines and Public Administration of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education Iryna Dzyuba and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure Mykola Repan, in compliance with all security requirements.
Students of the first year of the first (bachelor’s) level educational program “Law Enforcement Activity” in specialty K9 Law Enforcement Activity of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the class on the academic discipline “Police Activity”.
Invited speakers were inspectors of the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the 2nd battalion of the Patrol Police Regiment in the city of Kryvyi Rih of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of the Patrol Police Department, senior police lieutenants Danyil Dorokhov and Yana Smetannikova.
The students communicated with law enforcement officers, learned about the specifics of their official activities and the challenges they face while performing official duties.
The event was conducted with the aim of giving future specialists the opportunity to move from theory to practice, to see how their knowledge is applied in real life, and to gain practical experience, which is an integral part of modern higher education.
