A meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs under the chairmanship of Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalina.
For exemplary performance of official duties, significant personal contribution to enhancing the authority of the state in the international sports arena, professionalism, and achieving high sports results, a valuable gift was awarded to Oleksandr Zhuravel, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training at DSUIA, and Denys Lushpaiev, a cadet of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine distinction — the badge “For Public Safety” — was awarded to Levon Hryhoryan, a pupil of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, a number of important issues regarding the university’s activities were considered. The financial plan for 2026 was approved, and the annual financial report of DSUIA for 2025 was endorsed. Academic titles were conferred on several academic and teaching staff members of the university, and Professional Advanced Training and Specialization Programs for police officers were approved.
Amendments to the composition of the editorial board of the scientific journal “Scientific Bulletin of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs” were also approved, and changes were made to the membership of the Academic Council of DSUIA, among other matters.
