The event was conducted by Senior Inspector of the Analytical Work Department of the Criminal Analysis Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Senior Police Lieutenant Yana Lazareva.
Practical classes continue, conducted by employees of the Criminal Analysis Directorates of the Main Directorates of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk oblasts for cadets of the 2nd year of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU of DSUIA.
Cadets became familiar with geospatial OSINT, its key characteristics, main tools and basic methods of geospatial analysis using open source data.
Together with Yana Lazareva, the cadets performed practical exercises where they were able to apply the acquired knowledge.
Conducting such classes helps cadets form the necessary skills for effective work in the field of criminal analysis.
