Head of the Department of Forensic Research and Information Technology Studies, forensic psychologist of the highest qualification class of the Donetsk Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Olena Slipets joined the class.
The event, within the framework of mastering the academic discipline “Forensics”, was conducted for cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine with the participation of specialists from the Department of Forensics and Pre-medical Training.
During the event, the specifics of interaction between the investigator and subjects of forensic expert activity were examined in detail, as well as the practice of applying special psychological knowledge in the course of pre-trial investigation.
The class contributed to increasing cadets’ motivation to study forensics, deepening their understanding of the role of forensic examination in criminal proceedings, and developing practical skills of interaction with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
