During the week, internship supervisors from the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs carried out inspections of the completion of internships by cadets in the practical units of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

Control measures were conducted by academic and teaching staff of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology and the Department of Criminal Procedure of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.

The cadets’ internship is aimed at deepening and consolidating theoretical knowledge obtained during training, as well as at forming practical skills and abilities for professional activity. Special attention is paid to compliance with legal requirements, ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, personal safety rules, and the specifics of performing official duties under the legal regime of martial law.

During the inspections, internship supervisors familiarized themselves with the conditions of the cadets’ practical training, the specifics of their performance of official tasks, the level of mastery of practical skills, and compliance with official discipline. Such measures are aimed at improving the quality of practical training of future law enforcement officers and ensuring close interaction between the university and units of the National Police.
