DSUIA Continues Career Guidance Work Among Student Youth

Representatives of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs held introductory meetings with senior students, during which they presented the educational institution, its advantages and opportunities.

Within the framework of the “Visit Your Native School” project, second-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine Diana Holoborodko and Karina Strielets together with the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Police Major Elvira Sydorova conducted a career guidance meeting for students of the Kryvyi Rih Lyceum-Boarding School with enhanced military and physical training. The peculiarities of the admission and educational process at DSUIA, living conditions and daily routine of cadets, as well as opportunities for scientific, sports and creative development within the university were discussed with the students.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine Vadym Khashev held an online event for students of Lyceums No. 2 and No. 18 in Vinnytsia.

During the meeting, participants were informed about the main areas of training at DSUIA, the specifics of this year’s admission campaign, study conditions and the modern material and technical base of the university. Special attention was paid to the activities of scientific clubs and sports sections operating at the university and contributing to the comprehensive development of students.

Representatives of the Department of Language Training – Professor Volodymyr Krasnopolskiy and Associate Professor Anna Maksymova – organized an event with students of Lyceum No. 18 in the city of Samar. During the meeting, they talked about the peculiarities of the educational process and student-cadet life, as well as the prospects for professional growth of graduates in units of the National Police of Ukraine. The speakers emphasized that preparatory courses for the National Multisubject Test operate on the basis of the university, and that it is possible to visit the educational institution and its facilities within the framework of Open Days, which are regularly held at DSUIA.

The conducted events became an important step in forming the professional orientation of youth, contributed to students’ awareness of the importance of a responsible choice, and increased their interest in studying at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
