Practical training with the students was conducted by the acting Head of the Criminal Analysis Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Region, Police Major Dmytro Churbakov.
The class was organized with the support and assistance of the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Region.
Cadets were trained to search for information in open sources regarding cases of missing servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to establish facts of death or captivity.
Cadets were able to apply previously acquired theoretical knowledge: they analyzed open sources, formed their own conclusions and joined the search for information on the specified facts based on real cases.
The practical training contributed to the formation of analytical thinking among cadets, understanding of modern algorithms for searching and processing information in the open information space, and the development of professional criminal analysis skills necessary for effective work in criminal police units.
