The event was organized by the Department of Language Training within the framework of implementing gender policy and the international initiative “Biarritz Partnership”.

The round table took place on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated on February 11.

The event was attended by third-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies, who prepared and presented their own reports about outstanding women scientists who made significant contributions to various fields of science.

Professor of the Department of Language Training Volodymyr Krasnopolskiy addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of holding such events to increase cadets’ motivation for scientific activity, develop critical thinking, and foster respect for the achievements of women in science and education.

The round table became a platform for exchanging opinions, presentations, and discussing the role of women in the development of science, as well as demonstrating the cadets’ abilities for independent research work.
