A briefing was organized for 3rd-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine of DSUIA, who are being sent for internship to practical units.
The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, the Dean of the Faculty, Police Major Serhii Balaban, Head of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities, Police Major Valerii Darahan, Deputy Head of the Drug Crime Control Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Police Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Dello, the University Anti-Corruption Officer Ruslan Lupyr, Head of the Psychological Support Unit Serhii Vyshnevskyi, and Deputy Head of the Department for Organization of the Educational Process, Police Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Protopop.
Ihor Kovalov emphasized the importance of cadets’ responsible attitude toward completing the internship and the need for conscientious acquisition of practical experience.
During the briefing, cadets received information about their rights and duties, a list of competencies and skills to be mastered, as well as methodological recommendations for completing tasks.
Special attention was paid to issues of personal safety, discipline, compliance with the law, and adherence to anti-corruption legislation. It was also emphasized that it is necessary to submit the annual declaration for the previous year.
