War veterans who train at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the I. Mechnikov Hospital Table Tennis Cup. The event became an example of how sport promotes rehabilitation, recovery, and social interaction of veterans, and how systematic training at the university yields tangible results.

The tournament featured veterans who attend regular training sessions at DSUIA: Viacheslav Kaistro, Oleh Sakhnov, Andrii Shevchenko, Artem Formalov, Viktor Tykholaz, Eduard Kyrylov, and Vasyl Koval.
According to the competition results, Viacheslav Kaistro won first place and received the challenge cup, Vasyl Koval took second place, and Viktor Tykholaz placed third.


The tournament was held with the support and participation of the management of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named after I. Mechnikov, representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, advisor on veteran policy to the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Denys Skaleukha, and others.
The participation and victories of the veterans highlight the role of DSUIA as a space for supporting and developing veteran sports, where training turns into real sporting achievements and motivation for an active life.
