The thematic meeting with female cadets and students of the educational institution was devoted to issues of professional and academic development of women in the field of law and law enforcement.

The event was conducted by Police Major Nataliia Shumska, Head of the Postgraduate (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies Department, PhD in Law, and Police Major Iryna Drok, Head of the Research Laboratory for Preventive Activities and Sociological Studies, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor.

During the meeting, the participants discussed pathways into academia, studying at the university and serving in the police, combining educational, scientific, and practical activities, as well as opportunities for the professional realization of women within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The participants shared their personal experiences in choosing their profession, motivation for scientific work, and prospects for further development.
Holding such events at DSUIA contributes to the formation of scientific potential, support of young female researchers, and the development of academic culture within the educational institution.
