Cadets took part in an online meeting with representatives of the DOCU/CLUB Film Clubs Network, within which they watched and discussed the documentary film “Kherson. Resistance Continues.”
The event was aimed at fostering civic awareness, developing critical thinking, media literacy, and understanding of human rights among higher education students. Participants were introduced to the activities of the DOCU/CLUB network, which unites more than 550 film clubs across Ukraine and operates within educational, library, community, and cultural institutions.
During the event, the cadets watched a film dedicated to the civic resistance and resilience of the residents of Kherson since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, after which they joined a discussion of the social and human rights issues raised in the film.
Participation in such events expands the educational opportunities of cadets, contributes to understanding the challenges of wartime, and deepens awareness of the role of human rights and civic dialogue in modern Ukrainian society.
