Police officers completed advanced training prior to their appointment to managerial positions, including higher managerial positions than those currently held.

The advanced training was conducted via the дистанційна platform “Zoom” on the following topics: “Current Issues of Management in Police Bodies, Prospects and Ways to Address Them” and “Formation of Gender Competence in Accordance with UN and NATO Standards.”

The lecturers involved in the training were Borys Lohovynenko, Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel, and Yuliia Zavhorodnia, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Anatolii Kolotik. The Head of the Institute noted that a modern police manager must combine professional competence, managerial skills, leadership, and adherence to the principles of equality and non-discrimination. The importance of continuous learning and the implementation of best international practices in daily managerial activities was also emphasized.
Such events contribute to improving the quality of managerial decision-making, developing human resources potential, and strengthening the institutional capacity of the National Police of Ukraine.
