On the eve of Valentine’s Day, participants of the Speaking Club at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs discussed various manifestations of love.
The session on the topic “Love is everywhere” was conducted by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Language Training, Tetiana Pakulova. During the meeting, she encouraged participants to work on new words and expressions, which they then used to construct their own sentences and engage in discussion. This format allowed for combining language skill development with a lively discussion of the topic.
Club members actively joined the dialogue, shared their opinions, and provided examples from their personal experiences. The discussion went beyond romantic feelings, covering love for children and family, dedication to one’s profession, favorite hobbies, friendship, and harmony with nature.
The session took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to the development of communication skills, confidence in English, and strengthening the team spirit of the university community.
