Competitions bringing together veterans of law enforcement agencies from different regions took place in the city of Dnipro at the Olimpiiski Rezervy Sports Complex. The athletes were welcomed by representatives of the city and regional authorities, as well as well-known members of the sports community.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented at the tournament by Artem Formalov, Ivan Zmiievskyi, and Viacheslav Panin. According to the results of the competition, Artem Formalov won first place in the 20 kg static weight hold exercise in the weight category up to 75 kg. Ivan Zmiievskyi took third place in the same exercise in the weight category over 75 kg.
The participation of DSUIA representatives in the competition once again confirmed the high level of physical training and resilience of the veterans, as well as the importance of developing veteran sports as a component of rehabilitation and social integration.
