The event was organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. Cadets of the 1st and 2nd years of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine took part in the master class.
The event for creating the volumetric appliqué “Symbol of Unity and Strength” for the Day of the State Emblem of Ukraine was opened by the Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, Police Lieutenant Colonel Nataliia Karnaukh, with a story about historical facts, the origin and significance of the Tryzub for every citizen of Ukraine.
During the master class, the participants created a composition on a large sheet of Whatman paper using gouache: blue sky and yellow field were applied with foam sponges, creating an effect of depth and volume. With brushes, the participants drew wheat ears — each turned out unique and unrepeatable, but together they formed a single harmonious picture.
The final touch was adding the main symbol — the Tryzub, made of polymer materials.
The finished work пополнила the exhibition of patriotic drawings depicting the State Emblem, placed at the university.
Such creative classes contribute to the cultivation of patriotism, the development of artistic skills, the formation of respect for state symbols and the strengthening of a sense of unity and pride in Ukraine among future law enforcement officers.
