The information campaign was initiated by the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.

On the occasion of the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in 2026, an information campaign has begun to remind of the feat of the participants of the Revolution of Dignity, who at the cost of their own lives defended Ukraine’s right to be free. At its core is a new visual image created by the Ukrainian graphic artist, now a serviceman, Oleksandr Kom’yakhov on commission from the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.
The events are held to honor the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and to affirm the significance of their feat in today’s struggle of Ukraine for independence.
The Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred is celebrated annually on February 20, since it was on this day in 2014 that the largest number of people died in the center of Kyiv – 48. Together with the other 54 killed and mortally wounded participants of the peaceful protests during the winter of 2013–2014 and five Maidan activists who died in the spring of 2014 defending democratic values and the territorial integrity of Ukraine, they were named the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
