The trainees met with the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov.
Twenty-two police officers representing the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions have begun advanced training at the Department for the Organization of Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA.
The law enforcement officers will study the fundamentals of constitutional law, issues related to ensuring human rights and freedoms, as well as the principles of partnership-based interaction with the public. Special attention will be paid to the preparation of administrative materials for violations of traffic rules, the procedure for drafting official documents, and ensuring public safety and order during mass events in accordance with the Scandinavian model.
The Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, conducted a briefing for the trainees before the start of the program. He emphasized the need to comply with the rules of staying on the premises of a higher education institution with specific training conditions, safety requirements, and procedures for responding to air raid alerts. In addition, Ihor Kovalov underlined the importance of systematic professional development for law enforcement officers and the continuous updating of their knowledge in line with current challenges.
