At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, training sessions for military veterans are ongoing. The program is implemented by the Department of Special Physical Training.

The workouts take place under the supervision of specialists who monitor proper exercise techniques and the gradual increase of нагрузки in order to prevent injuries or overexertion. Special attention is given to a comprehensive approach: veterans work on strength and coordination exercises, practice motor skills, and restore flexibility.

Regular training helps veterans not only strengthen their bodies physically but also regain a sense of control, confidence in their own abilities, and readiness for an active lifestyle. The group “peer-to-peer” format creates an atmosphere of support and mutual assistance, which positively affects the psychological state of participants and contributes to reducing stress manifestations after service.

The implementation of such initiatives is part of a systematic support system for defenders within the university. DSUIA will continue to develop programs aimed at the recovery and social adaptation of veterans, creating a safe space for training, communication, and a gradual return to active life.
