Appeal by Ihor Mahdalina on the Occasion of the Fourth Anniversary of the Full-Scale Invasion

Dear colleagues, cadets, students, lyceum pupils!

Today marks four years since the beginning of the full-scale war, which has become a trial for each of us and for the entire country. These years have changed Ukraine — they have tempered it, united it, made it stronger.

We bow our heads in memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state. We thank the warriors, law enforcement officers, rescuers, medics and all those who hold the front — both on the front line and in the rear. It is thanks to their courage that Ukraine stands and fights.

For Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, these years have become a time of special responsibility. We train specialists who will serve Ukraine, ensure law and order, and support citizens in the most difficult moments. Our duty is not only to teach, but also to form resilience, professionalism and devotion to the state.

Four years of struggle have proven: the Ukrainian people are unbreakable. We will endure, because behind us are truth, unity and love for the Motherland.
