Fourth Anniversary of the Full-Scale Invasion of the Russian Federation: Fallen Heroes Honored in Dnipro

NEWS

The commemorative ceremony took place at Krasnopillia Cemetery. The event was attended by the Acting Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Ihor Mahdalina.

The ceremony was attended by regional and city leaders, heads of law enforcement agencies, representatives of the public, and residents of the city. Those present honored the memory of all Heroes and civilian Ukrainians who lost their lives with a minute of silence.

February 24, 2026 marks four years since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine — a new and the most brutal stage of the war for independence that Russia unleashed against our state in early 2014.

The participation of DSUIA representatives in such events is a testament to deep respect and tribute to those who gave their lives defending Ukraine’s freedom, as well as a reminder of the price of liberty.
