The event was organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of DSUIA.
At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a meeting was held between cadets, students, and pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and military veterans.

The students and lyceum pupils met with military veterans Viacheslav Lysenko, Oleksandr Hryshchuk, Viacheslav Panin, Ivan Zmiievskyi, Artem Formalov, and Oleksandr Otrubiannikov.

At the beginning of the meeting, all those present honored the memory of fallen defenders of Ukraine and civilian victims of the war with a minute of silence.
Participants recalled the day the full-scale aggression began and how the war started for each of them. The veterans spoke about their combat paths, their experiences during the first days of the invasion, the most difficult battles, and what gives them the strength to continue the fight — faith in Victory, the support of their loved ones, and an understanding of what they are defending Ukraine for.
Such meetings contribute to fostering among young people a deep awareness of the price of freedom, strengthening patriotism, cultivating respect for the heroism of defenders, and developing responsibility for the future of the country.
