Cadets and officers of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs conducted a series of career guidance events in various regions of Ukraine, continuing active efforts to promote the law enforcement profession and encourage young people to enroll at DSUIA.
Cadets Mariia Khlivna and Anhelina Shyshkina met with students of Cherkasy Specialized School No. 27 of I–III Levels named after M.K. Puteiko. They spoke about the admission process to the university, physical fitness requirements, training and living conditions for cadets, as well as career prospects in the National Police after graduation.
Cadets Oleksandr Zabudskyi and Anastasiia Miroshnychenko visited the tutoring center “Algorithm” in Dnipro, where they met with students from Dnipro Lyceums No. 126 and No. 137, as well as the Technical and Economic Lyceum No. 61 “Erudit.” During the meetings, school students learned in detail about the faculties, specialties, daily routine, scientific work, and sports life at the university, and also received answers to questions about preparing for entrance examinations.

In the city of Samar, cadets Ivan Tysovskyi, Nazarii Andrutskii, Hanna Terekhova, and Viktoriia Kuzina met with students of the “Samara” Lyceum. In an open discussion format, they presented DSUIA as a modern institution for training specialists for the law enforcement system and spoke about opportunities for professional growth and social guarantees for cadets.

In addition, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Shevchenko, together with the Head of the 2nd Year Course, Police Major Vitalii Dolhanin, and 2nd year cadets Diana Holoborodko, Karina Strielets, and Oleksandr Sylakov, held a career guidance meeting with students of Kryvyi Rih Lyceum No. 127. An online meeting was also conducted with students of Dnipro Lyceum No. 33.
During the meetings, school students received comprehensive information about admission requirements to DSUIA in 2026, specifics of studying at the faculties, cadets’ daily routine, dormitory living conditions, social guarantees, opportunities to participate in sports sections, scientific work at departments, and creative self-realization. Particular attention was paid to career prospects after graduation and service in units of the National Police of Ukraine.
Such events contribute to the conscious professional self-determination of young people, the formation of a positive image of police service, increased interest in law enforcement activities, and help senior students decide on their future profession and educational institution.
