“Along the Paths of Lesia Ukrainka”: Educational and Upbringing Event for Pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA

MIA Lyceum

The event was conducted by the teacher of Ukrainian language and literature Oksana MATUSEVYCH.

Pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA viewed an exhibition of books dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian poetess Lesia Ukrainka, and also watched a presentation with photographs of the writer and places where her life passed.

During the event, lines from the poems “Beauty of Ukraine, Podillia”, “Bakhchysarai”, “Volyn” and others were heard.

Under the melody of the lyrical song to the words of Lesia Ukrainka “If I Had”, pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA performed a charming waltz. This dance became a symbolic embodiment of the harmony between strength of spirit and tenderness of soul, as well as an organic addition to the program of the event.

In addition, the head of the lyceum self-government Ivan NEGODA presented the project of creating the center “Center of Inspiration and Development”.

At the end, a reflection was held in the form of an interactive survey regarding what was seen and heard.
