Cadets of the second year of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU took part in the event.
The class within the framework of practice-oriented training of higher education applicants was conducted by Inspector of the Department for Control over Checkpoint Activities and Interaction with Law Enforcement Agencies of the Preventive Activity Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Oblast, Police Captain Hanna Turchanykova.
The cadets became familiar with the features of the functioning of the “Safe City” video surveillance system, its role in ensuring public safety and order, as well as modern approaches to analytical processing of video data. Particular attention was paid to the algorithms of interaction between units of the National Police of Ukraine during response to reports of offenses.


Hanna Turchanykova provided practical examples of the use of video monitoring technical means in official activities, outlined problematic issues and prospects for the development of digital solutions in the field of security.
The cadets actively joined the discussion, asked questions regarding the practical application of the acquired knowledge and expressed interest in further similar meetings.
Conducting such events contributes to the formation of professional competencies of future police officers, expands their practical knowledge and strengthens interaction between DSUIA and the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Oblast.
