The event was conducted by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Police Captain Svitlana Korohod, within the framework of mastering by cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU the discipline “Criminal Law”.
Investigator of the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Police Senior Lieutenant Kateryna Dubynets, took part in the event.
During the class, a combination of theoretical analysis of the provisions of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with practical experience of their application in the activities of pre-trial investigation bodies was carried out.
Kateryna Dubynets covered current issues of qualifying acts in the presence of necessary defense, extreme necessity, execution of an order or instruction, and other circumstances excluding criminal wrongfulness.
The involvement of a representative of a practical unit contributed to deepening the professional competencies of higher education applicants and strengthening the practical orientation of the educational process.
