The circle meeting was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, PhD in Law, Senior Police Lieutenant Karina Pisotska.
The topic of the meeting — “Specific Features of the Implementation of Powers by the National Police of Ukraine Under Martial Law: Problematic Aspects and Directions for Improvement” — united young researchers around the analysis of current challenges and practical solutions.
Cadets presented their own scientific research: theses on the algorithm for responding to and collecting evidence of offenses in frontline areas, proposals for improving interaction algorithms with military formations, legal foundations of official activities and observance of human rights during service at checkpoints, as well as specifics of providing police services under martial law conditions.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Research Laboratory for Preventive Activities and Sociological Research, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Police Major Iryna Drok, who presented current research directions in the field of prevention. Iryna Drok emphasized the need for research into promising ways to improve the activities of police units, studying the specifics of their functioning under martial law conditions.
The meeting concluded with the development of recommendations for further work.
