Guests had the opportunity to tour the university’s facilities and training grounds, communicate with the university’s leadership, and learn about current admission requirements during the traditional Open Day.

The official part of the event took place in the conference hall, where Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr Kovbasa addressed those present with a welcoming speech. He emphasized that the university provides proper conditions for comprehensive training of students, their professional development, and personal growth.
Heads of key structural units and admissions office specialists also spoke with the guests, presenting the history of the institution, its mission, educational programs, and the specifics of studying and admission in 2026. Applicants watched a career guidance video and then had the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed answers, particularly regarding real prospects for future employment.

The main part of the event was a tour of the university’s locations. Accompanied by lecturers and representatives of cadet self-government, guests visited modern classrooms and specialized training grounds where students refine their practical skills.
Prospective applicants were shown the investigative and forensic training ground and the “Counteraction to Organized Crime and Corruption” training ground. The young men and women learned about the profession of an investigator and understood what is referred to as traces of a crime and physical evidence.

During the visit to the “Child-Friendly Crisis Room,” guests became acquainted with a set of measures that includes interrogation, interviewing, and individual preventive work with a child who is in contact or in conflict with the law.

In specialized training classrooms, visitors were demonstrated the algorithm for operating unmanned aerial vehicles, informed about safety rules when handling explosive objects, and introduced to the basics of pre-medical training. Guests also viewed an exhibition of modern weapons.

Everyone interested had the opportunity to practice properly performing the physical fitness standards required for admission at the Special Physical Training Center.

Future applicants visited the Courtroom Hall, the psychological relief center, and also explored the modern “Cyber Arena” — a recently equipped space for training high-level esports athletes.

The Open Day allowed applicants not only to receive comprehensive information about the conditions of study but also to experience the atmosphere of student and cadet life, assess the material and technical facilities, and see how and where they can acquire professional competencies at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. Participants thanked the organizers for the informative and насыщений program that promotes a conscious choice of future profession.
