During February, students of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs completed their internship at the unit.
Future specialist psychologists became acquainted with the structure of the unit, its key areas of work, and the specifics of psychological support for cadets and personnel. Special attention was paid to crisis response algorithms, the organization and conduct of psychodiagnostic assessments, as well as measures aimed at preventing professional burnout.
An important component of the internship was the practical part, which provided an opportunity not only to observe the work of specialists but also to directly participate in the implementation of psychological support measures under the supervision of experienced professionals. Following the internship, the students prepared a report and presentation summarizing the experience gained, formulating professional conclusions, and presenting their own proposals for improving the activities of the psychological service.
The Psychological Support Unit of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues to serve as an environment for professional growth, support, and the development of psychological resilience.
