A military-applied relay was conducted for first- and second-year students of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine as part of the relevant academic discipline.
The purpose of the event was to increase motivation to study the subject, as well as to assess, in a competitive environment, the skills in handling firearms acquired by cadets during their first and second years of study.
At the university shooting range, cadets combined the completion of a standard exercise with shooting at a stationary target, demonstrating accuracy, speed, and confidence in handling weapons. During the event, instructors paid attention to the correctness of technique, compliance with safety rules, and the concentration of participants, which made it possible to combine training with an effective assessment of practical skills.
According to the results of the quiz, the second-year team was declared the winner. According to the organizers, such activities allow cadets to assess their level of training, identify areas for improvement, and gain confidence in applying shooting skills before their practical use in future service.
